WelcomeLocal Evaluation 21 is the Local Authorities online self-assessment tool for local sustainable development processes. You can use this tool free of charge to evaluate processes and progress towards sustainable development from a local authority perspective. How does it work?Local Evaluation 21 is based on two questionnaires. Self-assessment means that you, as the local authority representative, will provide the input, together with any stakeholder organisations that you may wish to invite to take part. In order to complete the self-assessment you will need to request a password and username which you can do through the login section. What do I receive? You will receive a feedback report emailed directly to you. It provides a standardised external assessment of your work. This can be used to identify areas of success in local sustainable development, and areas of further work. More information about the purpose of Local Evaluation 21 can be found in the About section. Your input and subsequent report are treated as confidential information by the providers of the tool, and thus will not be shared with any other party. What does it look like? You can explore the demonstration questionnaire and an example of the report you will receive after using this tool in the evaluation section. If you need help, there is a section of frequently asked questions and instructions on completing the self-assessment, or if you have any questions or queries please contact us.
