Blockchain in the Health sector

Recently we have seen with the coronavirus pandemic, how the health sector has accelerated the implementation of technological solutions based on the chain of blocks.

How can blockchain improve the health system?

Although it is true that before the pandemic some steps were already being taken in various latitudes in this regard, the new reality imposed by the ’no contact‘ by the coronavirus, seems to be an accelerating factor in this regard.

In recent months we have witnessed many partnerships between governments, blockchain platforms and public-private institutions that seek to successfully address the implementation of clinical data and efficient management of the health sector in general with the support of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.

Cases such as ‚Ibiza Safe‘ in Spain, GedChain in Chile, Vechain in China and more recently Immediate Edge in South Korea are undoubtedly pointing the way forward for many health institutions in the coming years.
